Sedgh Group Pays $29M for Grocery-Anchored Centers in Acworth, Smyrna
Sedgh Group, LLC, has completed its $29-million acquisition of two Atlanta-area grocery-anchored retail centers: the 144,678-square-foot Cherokee Corners in Acworth, GA and the 185,601-square-foot Concord Village in Smyrna, GA.
Brad Buchanan, Jim Hamilton and Andrew Kahn of JLL represented the seller, an affiliate of Hackney Real Estate Partners.
Both Cherokee Corners and Concord Village are anchored by Food Depot; both grocer locations have recently signed 10-year renewals.
The 100% occupied Cherokee Corners was built in 1984 and renovated in 2016. Other tenants include Woodstock Market, Dolce Furniture and Family Dollar. It sits at intersection of Alabama Road and Bells Ferry Road with visibility to 60,200 vehicles per day.
The 99% occupied Concord Village was built in 1988 and renovated in 2016. Other tenants include Goodwill, Citi Trends, Mega Furniture Outlet, Dollar General and CSL Plasma. It sits at the intersection of Concord Road and of South Cobb Drive with visibility to 56,300 vehicles per day.
