Section 8 Housing Trades in East Garfield Park

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of 3100 W. Lexington St., a seven-unit apartment property on Chicago’s West Side.  The asset sold for $850,000.

Benjamin Conte, Steve Rachman, Kyle A. Stengle, and Jack Stanton, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company.  The buyer wasn’t disclosed.

3100 W. Lexington is located in West Side’s East Garfield Park neighborhood.  The apartments all have received significant interior renovations over the last five years.

The exact unit mix is three two-bedroom/one-bath, two three-bedroom/one-bath, one three-bedroom/two-bath, and one four-bedroom/one-bath.  All seven units are guaranteed by Section 8 housing vouchers.
