Second Time’s the Charm for Caddo Holdings & Lakewood Towers

Caddo Holdings LLC re-acquired the two-building, 170,111-square-foot Lakewood Towers, an office/medical asset on Dallas’ east side. The local buyer obtained the property, which delivered in 1970 and 1981, from Highland Lakewood LLC for an undisclosed price.

CBRE’s John Alvarado, Gary Carr, Robert Hill, Eric Mackey, Evan Stone, and Jared Chua, with CBRE Capital Markets’ Institutional Properties, arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller.

Located at 6301 Gaston Ave., Lakewood Towers is 99% leased to medical tenants, as well as local and national businesses.  The former-current owner bought the office complex from a public REIT in 2010 and, following $4 million in capital expenditures, sold the asset in 2013. “We are pleased that Caddo as a company is once again a part of the Lakewood community. Principals within our company have a long history in the neighborhood,” said Caddo’s Justin Engler.
