Seattle's Waterfront Park Adds New Retail Tenants

Seattle’s Waterfront Park Adds New Retail Tenants

Kidder Mathews has arranged several new leases at Harbor Steps as Seattle’s downtown waterfront springs back to life. The four-building lifestyle center is located at 1221 First Ave., and comprises 758 apartment units, 55,000 square feet of retail space and 35,000 square feet of office space.

Kidder’s Jason Miller, representing Equity Residential, arranged new leases at Harbor Steps which include:

-Skillet Diner, opening later this year

-Mason’s Lobster Rolls, opening soon

-Cassina, opening soon

-Ligne Roset, open now

-Taqueria Cantina, opened in 2021

“Places in and around Harbor Steps are outperforming the rest of the downtown market because of the diversity of the population,” said Miller in a news release. “It doesn’t strictly rely on workers coming to the office or locals frequenting their favorite shops and restaurants.”

The Harbor Steps is also located near Waterfront Seattle, the under-construction, $756-million park promenade along Elliott Bay.
