Seattle’s Pier 70 Sells to Landmark Event Co. for $11 Million

The Pier 70 building on Seattle’s waterfront has been sold to Landmark Event Co. for $11 million.

The property which was once featured in MTV’s “The Real World,” includes the pier, office space and restaurants. Located at 2801 Alaskan Way, a second parcel also backs up to the shore. The site, currently 36% leased, includes a 116-space parking garage and approximately 70,000 square feet of vacant space, reported the Seattle Times.

Built in 1902, Pier 70 has undergone several transformations, including a major renovation in 1999, which marked the building as a landmark office building and waterfront dining option. Currently, Pier 70 operates as a commercial office building with retail tenants including AQUA by El Gaucho, Pub 70, and Uptown Espresso.
