Sealy Mattress Inks 289K-SF Deal at Tower Business Center 1 in Colorado

Sealy Mattress Manufacturing Co. signed a long-term lease to take down the just-delivered Tower Business Center 1 industrial building in Aurora, CO. The mattress giant came to an agreement with landlord and developer United Properties for the 289,113-square-foot speculative space at 18701 E. 38th Ave. Sealy, which currently occupies two buildings in Denver, plans to consolidate, and expand, into the new building by the end of 2019; tenant improvements are underway.

Mike Wafer, Bruce Mawhinney and Tim D’Angelo of NKF represented United Properties in the transaction. JLL’s Mitchell Zatz and Carmon Hicks represented Sealy.

Tower Business Center 1 is the largest of two, 32-foot-clear, industrial buildings at Tower Business Center, which United Properties is developing in partnership with Artis REIT. A 133,848-square-foot front-park, rear-load building will be completed at the end of August 2019.
