Seagis Adds to Outer Borough Industrial Holdings

Seagis Property Group made two industrial acquisitions totaling 101,340 square feet in Brooklyn and Queens. Pricing wasn’t disclosed.

The larger of the two properties is a 75,500-square-foot warehouse at 57-47 47th St. in the Maspeth submarket of Queens. The building, which features more than an acre of secured yard, was acquired under a short-term leaseback, and has since been re-tenanted to a new customer.

Seagis also acquired a 25,840-square-foot warehouse at 124-134 Forrest St. in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood.  The building features a 5,000-square-foot secured yard and is 100% occupied.

Collectively, Conshohocken, PA-based Seagis now owns 54 buildings in the Outer Boroughs, totaling approximately 1.2 million square feet. Within the New York metro area, the company also owns approximately 5.1 million square feet of industrial in Central and Northern New Jersey, and roughly the same amount in South Florida.
