
Seabrook Developer Starts Work on $170M Mixed-Use Project
Seabrook Plaza, a $170 million mixed-use development featuring two Margaritaville-branded hotels is underway. The project will include a 100,000 square foot boutique hotel, a 120,000 square feet of extended-stay hotel, a 25,000 square foot event center, apartment complex, 25,000 square feet of retail space, and 1,200 parking spaces. The seven-story apartment community will have 260 one- and two-bedroom units. There will be nearly 1,200 parking spaces.
John Fisher is the developer. MCS Architects is the designer. Seabrook Plaza One LP acquired the 11-acre property in June 2022.
The town has seen a flurry of activity on the development front of late. The Seabrook City Council recently approved another mixed-use project not far from the Seabrook Plaza site.
The town of 13,500 was voted Texas most livable community by MoneyInc due to is low crime rate, performing school district and standard of living. In addition, as a coastal community adjacent to Clear Lake, Seabrook is home to numerous recreational opportunities. Seabrook is 30 miles SE of Houston.
