SE Dallas to be Site of 180 Affordable Apartments
Meadowbrook will provide 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom units and is reserved for families earning up to 60% of the areas median income, or about $53,000 for a family of four.
Located at 910 S. Belt Line Road, the community is set on a 9.6 acre site.
Financing for the $45 million development is being provided through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and tax-exempt bonds issued by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
Monthly rental rates will range between $938-$1,670. The developer, LDG, hopes to welcome their first resident in January 2023. LDG’s Chris Dischinger has more, “The addition of Meadowbrook not only reflects the tremendous growth taking place in Dallas but also recognizes diverse housing options have to be included in any longterm development strategy.”
