Scottsdale OK’s Two Multifamily Mid-Rises

ZOM Living received approval from the Scottsdale City Council to build two, free standing apartment mid-rises along with some retail space in Old Town Scottsdale. The project will be at the high profile intersection of Scottsdale Blvd. and Camelback.

ZOM Living is proposing an 8 and 11-story residential tower making up 536 units. They plan to add 13,000 square feet of retail in the taller of the two buildings.

Construction drawings are due any day and the the company expects to start pulling permits in six months. They expect construction to take 18 months. ZOM Living previously reported that they received a $152 million construction loan, and budgeted $230 million for the project. The project is located across the street from the two-million-square-foot Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall.
