Scottsdale Development Site Sold for Nearly $7M
A Scottsdale-based development team bought a 1.9-acre infill site in north Scottsdale for $6.65 million with plans to redevelop it into a mixed-use project. A joint venture, led by Jim Riggs along with Cambridge Properties’ Keith Mishkin and Magna Legacy’s Angelo Giudice, bought the property from Scottsdale-based Amiel Properties.
The property at 16640 N. Scottsdale Rd. currently houses a 15,000-square-foot retail center at the coveted intersection of Frank Lloyd Wright and Scottsdale Road. The buyer is still finalizing future plans for the site.
Riggs says, “We are close to announcing our plan for a truly iconic project complementing the adjacent Frank Lloyd Wright Spire. Expect a mixed-use plan with a large residential component.”
JLL’s Brian Ackerman marketed the property on behalf of the seller.
