Scott Durkin New CEO of Douglas Elliman

Scott Durkin has been promoted to president and CEO of Douglas Elliman.

Durkin joined Douglas Elliman in January 2016 as chief operating officer, and developed an exclusive listing entry platform with StreetEasy and Zillow. He oversaw expansions in New York, South Florida, California and Massachusetts, and restructuring in the New York TriState area.

“From forward-thinking partnerships with StreetEasy to another record-breaking year of sales, Scott has proven himself to be a highly valued and respected leader,” said Howard M. Lorber, chairman of Douglas Elliman Realty.

Before joining Douglas Elliman, Durkin spent 26 years with The Corcoran Group. He began his career as a sales agent in 1991, becoming a protege of Barbara Corcoran and working directly alongside her for many years.
