School District Now Owns 54K-SF Office

The Humble Independent School District (ISD) acquired an office building in Humble, TX to use as a future administration and office complex. The 54,539-square-foot building sits on 2.6 acres at 10203 Birchridge Dr. Mark Wimberly of Houston Commercial Development represented the school district in its buy from Deerbrook Point LP, which is based in Kingwood, TX.

The sales price of the asset was undisclosed, with the Harris Central Appraisal District assessing it at $3.8 million. Records point out that the seller owned the 1990s building since 2010.

The building, located in the Houston metro’s far north-northeast submarket, houses law offices, insurance companies and the Texas Rehabilitation Commission.
