Schenker to Occupy all 150K SF in Albuquerque Spec Industrial
A 150,000-square-foot lease was recently arranged on behalf of Schenker Inc. at 7200 Bluewater Rd. NW, a class-A speculative industrial facility under construction in Albuquerque. Logistics services company Schenker will occupy 100 percent of the property once construction is complete.
This is one of the first speculative industrial projects in the metro area in more than 10 years. The landlord is Bluewater@Airport Opportunity Partners LLC.
CBRE’s Brecken Mallette and Jim Smith represented the tenant in the transaction as local brokers. David Albert and Nicolas Palazzo of CBRE Miami will work with the tenant on national level.
Construction on the property began in July 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in second quarter 2022. The building features 32-foot clear height, dock and drive-in ramp access, and concrete tilt-up construction on more than 10 acres. It is located in the West Mesa submarket with proximity to Interstate 40.
