Scenic Expressions Signs 300K-SF Lease in Santa Clarita

Scenic Expressions, a provider of sets, storage and transportation for the film and television industry, has inked a 300,000-square-foot lease at Saugus Station Industrial Center in Santa Clarita, CA. The company, represented by JLL in the transaction, will use the warehouse for storage of its sets and props.

“We wanted a building that could accommodate the storage of large sets and that was close to Santa Clarita’s film studios,” said Scenic Expressions owner Mark Larinto. “We are expanding both in Southern California and Atlanta with large volume deals with traditional and streaming production content providers.”

JLL’s Brent Weirick represented the tenant in the transaction, while CBRE’s Craig Peters represented COV-Saugus B LLC, the landlord of the 975,000-square-foot facility on Springbrook Avenue. “The San Fernando Valley, including Santa Clarita, continue to see healthy demand for industrial space with the film and TV industry being a strong driver,” commented Weirick in a news release.
