Scannell Taps Peak Construction for Elgin Warehouse

Peak Construction Corporation has been awarded the contract to build Scannell Properties’ Elgin Distribution Center located at 1451 Sheldon Dr. in Elgin, IL. The assignment comes about five months after industrial developer Scannell awarded Peak the contracts to build Strongsville Commerce Center in Strongsville, OH and DuPage Business Center Phase II in West Chicago, IL.

The 477,115-square-foot speculative Elgin distribution warehouse is expected to be completed in late December 2022. It will have a 36’ clear height, 40 dock doors, four (4) drive-in doors, trailer storage and 372 car stalls. Peak is teamed with Harris Architects Inc. and Haeger Engineering.
