Savills Promotes Mike Griffin to Tampa Market Leader

Savills promoted Mike Griffin to market leader of its Tampa office. In his new position, he will oversee local brokerage and consulting practices while executing strategies to grow the company’s prominence in the area.

Over his career, Griffin has completed transactions totaling more than 6.3 million square feet across the globe for diverse occupier clientele, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to all levels of government. Former Florida Governor Rick Scott appointed Griffin to the Tampa Port Authority Board of Commissioners in 2017. He joined Savills in 2015, following the firm’s acquisition of Vertical Integration. Griffin succeeds Senior Managing Director Cheri O’Neil, who is returning to brokerage full-time.

“Savills is well-regarded in Tampa and throughout the Bay Area as a global leader in tenant-focused commercial real estate,” said Griffin. “The firm has added complementary service lines, invested in client technologies and made several key hires and acquisitions to support our core mission, which is excellence in tenant advisory services.”
