Savills Handles Corporate HQ Deal for Spine Surgery Innovator
Alphatec Spine, Inc. (ATEC), a provider of innovative spine surgery solutions, leased the entire 121,541-square-foot building at 1950 Camino Vida Roble in the heart of the Carlsbad technology corridor. The two-story structure will house state-of-the-art research and development, lab and distribution facilities.
ATEC is redesigning and renovating the entire space to comprise a seven-station cadaveric lab; product display showcase; biomechanical testing facility; technology advancement group; and quality control, operations and administrative functions. The project will also include indoor and outdoor collaborative employee meeting zones. ATEC is expected to take occupancy of its new headquarters in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Savills’ Robert McGriff, Mike Labelle and Bridget Garwitz advised ATEC in the 10-year transaction. Cushman & Wakefield’s Aric Starck represented the landlord, RAF Pacifica.
