Savills Arranges Year Up United Headquarters Lease, Expansion to Other Cities

Savills advised Year Up United on its new Boston headquarters at 2 Center Plaza while also supporting the workforce development organization’s expansion in Providence and Chicago. Savills arranged Year Up United’s approximately 33,700-square-foot Boston lease and provided project management services to prepare the headquarters for occupancy.

Managing director Brett Tynes worked alongside senior managing director Matt Perry in Boston and corporate managing directors Brandon Nasatir in Chicago and Steve Woodworth in Providence. Zac Sargent of Savills Program and Project Management spearheaded the project management services for the Boston transaction.

The Boston move is part of Year Up United’s evolving national footprint. The organization recently signed an approximately 12,600-square-foot lease in Providence and a nearly 13,000-square-foot lease in Chicago’s Two Prudential Plaza, both scheduled to open by the end of this year.

Bill Anderson of Newmark represented Shigo Center Plaza Owner LLC in Boston, Michael Friedman of Paolino Properties represented ownership in Providence and Daniel Heckman of Riverside Investment & Development represented Wanxiang Sterling LLC in Chicago
