Savanna Tops Out on Plaza District Boutique Tower

Savanna recently celebrated the topping out of The Six, its boutique office project at 106 W. 56th St. in the Plaza District. Construction began in February 2018 on the 26-story, 90,000 square-foot tower, which Savanna is developing in partnership with Hong Kong-based Atom Assets.

Located on 56th Street, just west of Avenue of the Americas, The Six will offer high-end office space suitable for smaller users such as hedge funds, family offices, and wealth managers that are seeking a full-floor presence in the heart of Midtown.

“106 W. 56th is uniquely designed for tenants under 5,000 square feet, offering them a full-floor presence with direct identity,” CBRE’s Peter Turchin said when the developers began construction on the project. Turchin and colleague Christie Harle are leading the leasing campaign.

Savanna expects to complete construction on the tower, designed by Perkins Eastman and Gensler, by early 2020.
