SAS Moving from Northwest to East Austin

Software firm SAS will be moving from its campus in Northwest Austin, where it has been for more than a quarter of a century, to a new, 134,367-square-foot building in East Austin. SAS is planning its move to 1801 E. 6th St., where Riverside Resources launched construction on the five-story building that is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2019.

Rick Whiteley and Richard Whiteley of Cushman & Wakefield’s Austin office are representing the software maker in its move. Cushman & Wakefield will also represent SAS when its existing campus on Farm-to-Market Road 620, near Ranch-to-Market Road 222, is put up for sale. That should take place in Q2 2018.
