Sares Regis Group of Northern California has gained approval from Redwood City's City Council for a new townhome community

Sares Regis Wins Approval on Redwood City Townhome Complex

Regis Homes Bay Area, LLC, a division of Sares Regis Group of Northern California (SRGNC), has gained approval from Redwood City’s City Council for a new residential community. Located at 505 E. Bayshore Rd. at the entrance to Redwood City’s emerging Bair Island neighborhood, the new residential development will include 56 townhouses, including eight below-market-rate units.

The 2.54-acre site, currently home to Alan Steel, will be demolished to make way for the new townhomes. The townhomes will be all-electric, featuring solar panels, EV charging and other sustainable features.

“We are very excited to bring this new townhome community to help meet the robust housing demand on the Peninsula and also contribute to the access to the Bayfront and its tremendous trail system,” said Jeff Smith, director of development for SRGNC.

505 E. Bayshore aligns with Redwood City’s General Plan intent for a mixed-use waterfront neighborhood on Bair Island.
