Santikos Theater to Anchor Boerne Stage Crossing Shopping Center
Santikos Enterprises announced the development of a 10th multiscreen movie theater complex, this one in the San Antonio suburb of Leon Springs, TX. Specifically, the San Antonio-headquartered Santikos’ new project will anchor the planned 150,000-square-foot Boerne Stage Crossing Shopping Center, at Interstate 10 and Boerne Stage Road.
Santikos entered into a purchase agreement led by individuals from Weitzman for the project. A construction timeline was not immediately available, though Santikos’ Tim Handren told the San Antonio Business Journal that the theater will likely have 10 to 12 auditoriums.
Santikos recently opened a multiscreen complex in Cibolo, TX, and will soon open the renovated Rialto theater under its original name, Galaxy Theater.
