Sansone Group Snags 102-Acre Industrial Development Site Near Savannah

Commercial real estate firm Sansone Group has acquired a 101.5-acre industrial development site near Savannah in partnership with a private equity real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital. The partnership plans to develop up to 1.4 million square feet of industrial space on the site.

Located at 4737 Hendley Road in Port Wentworth, the site is approximately six miles from the Port of Savannah. Plans for the project call for three buildings developed in two phases. The first phase will consist of a 437,500-square-foot building that will break ground in March. Sansone expects to deliver the building in December. The second phase will consist of 805,000 square feet across two buildings.

Chris Tomasulo of JLL has been tapped to lease the project on behalf of ownership. Kern & Co. designed the site layouts.
