San Francisco Penthouse Garners Record Sale Price
One Steuart Lane, a condominium community developed and owned by Paramount Group in San Francisco, has commanded the highest price-per-square-foot since 2018 with the recent sale of a waterfront penthouse residence. Located just off the Embarcadero on the San Francisco Bay, the residence sold for $10.5 million, or $4,487 per square foot.
Polaris Pacific, which represents the property, said One Steuart Lane has also grossed the most total sales volume over the past 12 months of any West Coast project, totaling $200 million.
The condominiums are comprised of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 900 to 3,000 square feet and offer large-scale glass windows and nine-foot ceiling heights. The penthouses are as large as 6,200 square feet. The community, adjacent to Rincon Park, is also within a short walk of the Financial District, the Ferry Building and BART.
“With One Steuart Lane, our goal was to strike an effortless balance between a deeply modern sensibility and a timeless San Francisco presence,” said Paramount Group’s Christopher Brandt.
