San Francisco Investor Buys Panasonic Avionics HQ Building

Barings Real Estate Advisers divested a fully leased, 144,906-square-foot Class A office/R&D building located at 26200 Enterprise Way in Lake Forest, CA to San Francisco-based Drawbridge Realty for an undisclosed amount. Since its construction and build-to-suit design in 2000, the property has long served as Panasonic Avionics Corporation’s main corporate headquarters building.

The single-tenant net lease investment property is an institutional-quality building that spans two stories. It is part of Panasonic’s larger 18-acre, seven-building 500,000-square-foot global HQ campus and within Pacific Commercentre.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Jeffrey Cole, Ed Hernandez, and Nico Napolitano represented the seller in the disposition, with C&W’s John Harty providing local market advisory. The buyer was self-represented.

Hernandez notes the property includes “executive offices and critical lab areas, including separate engineering and laboratory space for each of the company’s distinctive airline clients.”
