San Francisco Getting New Skyscraper

The San Francisco Planning Commission recently approved a proposal that will add 750,000 square feet of office space to downtown. John Buck Co. and Golub Real Estate Development are building the 43-floor Park Tower, located at Beale and Howard streets.

This will add to 1.1 million square feet of office space that is coming online in the area over the next couple of years. Construction on Park Tower is set to start in November.

JLL is heading up the leasing efforts for the development. Based on the current demand for office space by tech companies in the area, it is thought that those types of firms will be the most likely candidates as tenants.
