San Francisco-Based Fivestars to Hang El Paso Shingle

Fivestars, a technology company headquartered in San Francisco, is opening an office in El Paso. The customer-service company will take space at the Chase Tower building, at 201 E. Main Dr. in the CBD.

The firm plans to hire more than 50 employees by Q2 2018, and will pay an average of $40,450. Workforce Solutions Borderplex is working with the company to help hire for positions including inside sales, customer support and operations.

Victor Ho, Fivestars’ Co-founder and CEO, said the decision to open in El Paso was due to the infrastructure, the bilingual workforce and culture. Furthermore, co-founder Matt Doka was born and raised in El Paso.
