San Diego Workforce Partnership Relocates within Chula Vista

JLL guided San Diego Workforce Partnership to a new lease for 12,963 square feet at 333 H St. in Chula Vista. Commencing in 2025, the lease represents a relocation of the nonprofit’s South County Career Center, currently on Bay Boulevard in Chula Vista.

San Diego-based JLL managing director Damon Melda represented San Diego Workforce Partners. The landlord, Scripps Health, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Bill Cavanagh and Joe Zurek.

“While the San Diego office leasing market has slowed in recent months, we are seeing strategic relocations from firms like San Diego Workforce Partnership who have a vision for the future of workspace,” said Melda. “We began the search for a new location more than 18 months ago. With the low vacancy for quality product, we waited patiently for the right fit to bring SDWP’s resources to the local communities. This included a building with easy access to public transportation, ground floor accessibility, secured parking and state-of-the-art space to host their career center.”
