According to reporting by the San Diego Union Tribune, mall anchors Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom will close for an anticipated two weeks, following a nationwide lead from parent companies.

Macy’s currently operates eight standard department stores (including the soon to close Horton Plaza location and its Mission Valley home store), three Bloomingdale’s locations (including a Bloomingdale’s Outlet) and three Bluemercury makeup and skincare venues in the region. Nordstrom will close its UTC, Fashion Valley and North County stores.

Closures are expected to last for two weeks, or until month end.
