Port San Antonio hoping to land Air Force Cyber HQ

San Antonio Pitching Air Force on Cyber HQ

Port San Antonio is proposing to build a consolidated headquarters for the Air Force’s electronic capabilities. The complex would replace outdated structures and house Air Force Cyber, as well as its associated missions and partner agencies. The cost to develop the campus could approach roughly $1.2 billion to $1.4 billion. The Port says it wants to duplicate what the town had with the US Space Command.

Port San Antonio is a 1,900-acre platform just southwest of downtown San Antonio. It is home to leading global industries, including Aerospace, Defense, Global Logistics, Manufacturing, Cybersecurity and Education.

Over 80 tenant customers employ 18,000 people on our unique air-, rail- and highway-served property. Together, they generate over $5 billion in annual economic activity in our region.
