151-unit hotel going up near The Pearl in San Antonio

San Antonio Pearl Developer Planning 151-Unit Hotel

Silver Ventures, the group that redeveloped the Pearl Brewery, has formed a spinoff company that plans to build a new 151-bed hotel across from the Pearl. Oxbow expects to break ground on the project in early 2024. It should take two years from that to open its doors. The eight-story hotel will be designed by architect Don McDonald. It will be a brick structure with arched porticos reminiscent of the Oxbow office building near the Pearl on Broadway Street.

The hotel will feature 13,500 square feet of meeting space, a lobby bar and rooftop bar and grill, and a pool deck open to the public. Hotel guests will be able to access the Pearl by crossing the existing pedestrian bridge near the amphitheater.

Oxbow is behind such projects as the Cellars and Southline apartments at the Pearl, the Oxbow and Credit Human buildings on Broadway Street and The Lab multi-use building at the Pearl.
