San Antonio-Area Medical Facility to Expand

Methodist Hospital Northeast (MHN) is building another medical building in the City of Live Oak, just northeast of San Antonio. The 73,000 square foot Methodist Plaza building will include a hospital-based outpatient surgery center with five operating rooms, robotic surgery capabilities and a cardiology imaging center.

The hospital group plans to continue to grow, “Methodist Plaza II is just the second phase in our current growth plans. In addition to our freestanding emergency room coming to New Braunfels this August, our long-term vision includes building a third medical office building near Methodist Plaza,” said MHN’s Cameron Howard.

The new facility will be home to Alamo City Surgeons, the Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio, Northeast Pulmonary and Sleep Associates and Sports Medicine Associates.
