Samsung SDI Signs 13K-SF Lease at Cambridge R&D Building  

The Davis Companies has announced the completion of 101 Smith Place, a 161,616 square feet Class A life science and lab building in West Cambridge, MA, as part of The Quad Life Science campus. Samsung SDI has secured a ten-year lease on a 13,604-square-foot spec suite on the 3rd floor, which will be completed in December 2024. 

This development, in partnership with Invesco Real Estate, features three life science buildings and one advanced manufacturing facility. The building includes LEED Gold certification, high-efficiency HVAC, parking, a fitness center, Bluebike stations, and other amenities. Additional spec suites are available. 

CBRE’s Eric Smith, McKenna Teague, Tess Chandler, and Jack Scibner represented the landlord, while Montivista Real Estate Investment’s Ruyi Cai represented the tenant.
