Samsung Consolidating to Legacy Central

Samsung Electronics America Inc. announced it would consolidate its employees from Richardson and Plano, TX to a newly-redeveloped, 216,000-square-foot building at Legacy Central in Plano. Occupancy will begin in Q1 2019. Approximately 1,000 employees from the company’s customer care, mobile, mobile R&D and engineering divisions will move to the new building.

“Legacy Central is an ideal location for our Texas employees. We believe that bringing our teams together will foster collaboration, connectivity and well-being,” said Alejandro Rivero, Director Corporate Real Estate for Samsung Electronics America.

Legacy Central is the 84-acre, 1-million-square-foot former campus of Texas Instruments, which Regent Properties acquired in late 2015. The campus is on Chase Oaks Blvd., near US 75 and Legacy Pkwy.
