Salon Republic to Open First East Coast Salon in Philadelphia

Midwood Investment and Development will welcome a new retail tenant at its 210 South 12th property, a luxury mixed-use building in Philadelphia.

Salon Republic will be opening its first location on the East Coast at 210 South 12th. The space will feature 55 salon studios, including spaces for hair stylists, barbers, and estheticians. The new location is part of Salon Republic’s larger national expansion plan.

210 South 12th is located in the heart of Center City in the Washington Square West neighborhood. The property features studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom penthouse apartments. Residents at 210 South 12th will have a dedicated entrance into the Salon Republic space.

The building is just a few blocks away from the Rittenhouse Row shopping district and is surrounded by world-class cultural institutions, culinary destinations, and hospitals and medical centers, including the nearby Jefferson Health and Pennsylvania Hospital.
