Salesforce Downsizes Bellevue Office Footprint

Salesforce Inc. has downsized its Bellevue footprint, opting to lease less space after a renewal.

The software giant signed an early extension for 98,000 square feet in downtown Bellevue’s 929 Office Tower, a space it has occupied for nearly a decade. At the same time, Salesforce agreed to an early termination across three floors totaling 78,000 square feet, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal citing a report from the Broderick Group.

Salesforce first leased space in the 929 Office Tower in 2015, when it announced that it would become an anchor tenant in the Trammell Crow Co. development. The company joined several other tech firms in renewing leases in downtown Bellevue, including WeWork, eBay and Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. Meanwhile, other companies have also reduced their office space, including Warner Bros. Discovery which has leased 48,000 square feet in the Civica Office Commons at 225 108th Ave. NE in Bellevue, as the company’s 112,000-square-foot lease in Seattle’s Hill7 is set to expire in May.
