Sales Start for New Townhome Development in Northbrook

Chicago-based Lexington Homes announced sales are underway at Gateway, a new enclave of 25 townhomes in downtown Northbrook, Illinois.

Located at 1181 Shermer Road, Gateway features the recent redesign of Lexington’s Mews series townhomes. The first deliveries are expected to begin in spring 2026. The three-level townhomes measure from 1,954 to 2,278 square feet and offer three to four bedrooms.

“Gateway offers a great opportunity for buyers to find a brand-new townhome that rivals the size of a single-family home and is outfitted with high-end finishes,” said Jeff Benach, principal of Lexington Homes.

Gateway will be near The Glen Town Center, a retail and dining destination with fitness centers, a movie theater, and recreational options including public parks, golf courses and tennis and pickleball courts. The property is also in proximity to major retailers like Jewel-Osco and Home Depot, as well as a number of restaurants.
