Sale of The Mark Brings Project Full Circle

A CDC Houston-managed entity, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation and the master developer of north Houston’s Springwoods Village, have acquired The Mark at CityPlace Springwoods Village. A subsidiary of Houston-based Martin Fein Interests Ltd. will be a partner in the property and continue to provide property management services.

The sale of the six-story and 268-unit luxury apartment building on 3.75 acres brings the LEED Silver project full circle. Fein purchased the site from CDC Houston in 2014 and debuted The Mark in late 2017.

The Mark is one of three apartment communities Fein has developed at Springwoods Village including recently debuted The Canopy and The Belvedere, which the company completed in 2014 and sold to MLG Capital last year.

In keeping with the mixed-use master plan for CityPlace, the 60-acre urban core of Springwoods Village, The Mark incorporates 7,800 square feet of ground-floor retail. The building bookends programmed CityPlace Plaza with the Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village, and is steps from dining and entertainment options in addition to major employers such as HP Inc., CHI St. Luke’s Health, ExxonMobil and the future headquarters of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
