Sage Realty has launched a $53-million reimagining of 767 Third Ave., an office tower in Midtown Manhattan

Sage Realty Launches Revamp of 767 Third Ave. Office Tower

Sage Realty, the leasing and management division of the William Kaufman Organization, has launched the $53-million transformation of 767 Third Ave. in Midtown Manhattan. Sage has commissioned FXCollaborative and Fogarty Finger to design and reimagine the lobby, the Oasis amenity program and the property as a whole.

““It is imperative that we offer a dynamic and inspiring work environment that will best support the evolving needs of workers,” said Jonathan Iger, CEO of Sage.

Fox and Fowle, the original FXCollaborative team who designed the 40-story office in 1983, have been brought back to revive the original lobby, with the renovation slated for completion in the first quarter of 2023.

In addition to the new entry and lobby, Sage will introduce Oasis, 767 Third’s reimagined amenity program, slated for completion by Q4 2022. It will include a revamped plaza featuring the world’s largest chess board, in use since 1982.
