Homewood Suites Dallas to become apartments

Sage Converting Dallas Hotel into Apartments

Sage Investment Group plans to renovate the Dallas Homewood Suites by Hilton at 2747 N. Stemmons Fwy. into workforce apartments. Built in 1997, the hotel has 137 guest rooms, four meeting rooms, and 2,364 square feet of total event space.

Sage says the $1.56 million renovation will take between six and twelve months to complete before leasing. Residents will find fully-appointed units with brand-new finishes, full kitchens, and amenities like internet, cable, dog parks, and sometimes even indoor pickleball. The company added the units are typically the lowest cost in the market, even thouh they live like brand-new construction,

Work is expected to begin in January and be completed in August. Houston-based Element Architects is overseeing the design. The $1.56 million renovation will not require any architectural work, and any construction will take place only in the clubhouse.

Sage focuses on purchasing hotels in high-growth markets and converting them to apartments.
