Sabert Corp. Launches 450K-SF Construction
Sabert Corp. officially began construction for a new manufacturing facility in Greenville, TX. The 450,000-square-foot facility is being built on 77.1 acres, at 6601 Farm-to-Market Rd. Upon completion, the factory is anticipated to bring 125 jobs to the northeast Texas city.
The Greenville facility is expected to be fully operational by early 2019, and will be Sabert’s first U.S. factory to manufacture 100% compostable food packaging. The company, headquartered in Sayreville, NJ, is a global manufacturer of food packaging products.
A local media report quoted Greenville Mayor David Dreiling as saying that the region has been targeting companies like Sabert to add to the industrial base. “This company will assist with our continuing goal of providing quality jobs for our citizens, adding industrial property value growth, and more industrial customers for our city-owned electric utility, GEUS,” he added.
