S.F. Hotel Rates Spike for Super Bowl

When the Super Bowl comes to town in February, visitors can expect to pay more at San Francisco’s luxury hotels. A lot more.

Room rates are projected to increase by 400 percent. Meanwhile Marriott, Hilton and IHG hotels are not even accepting reservations for the game, which takes place on the weekend of Feb. 7.
