Ryan Cos. Plans $90M CBD Minneapolis Tower
Minneapolis-based Ryan Cos. USA plans to develop a $90-million office building in downtown Minneapolis next to the U.S. Bank Stadium, which opens this summer. The 17-story modern glass tower is slated for a “sliver” site at 728 Fourth St. S.
The project must be reviewed by a planning commission committee later this month. Ryan secured rights from the city in 2014 to develop the site.
Ryan’s Tony Barranco called the location “one of the most unique and dynamic sites for a corporate user,” given its proximity to the $1.1-billion Minnesota Vikings stadium and a vibrant riverfront neighborhood.
The developer is seeking a major office tenant that would attract new jobs to the city. The city believes the site appeals to companies as a headquarters location or large regional operations.
