Ryan Co.’s, Grand Living Advance Third Iowa Senior Project

Ryan Companies US, Inc. and Grand Living proposed their third senior living project in Iowa and first in West Des Moines. The five-story, 174-unit project will be located at 610 South 51st St., and will offer an age-in-place concept with independent, assisted and memory care services minimizes resident moves.

Ryan Companies’ Eric Anderson says, “Grand Living offers a distinctive lifestyle model of senior living that will be unique to the West Des Moines market. With the success of our other two Iowa projects and the central location, there is no doubt this will fill a need in the market.”

The new project will have easy access to 35W, is close to Jordan Creek Town Center, and has an abundance of retail and services ideal for an age-in-place concept. Community amenities include three restaurants; a spa and salon featuring fitness, indoor pool, beauty salon, massage and personal trainers; a performance theater; library; club room and other multi-use spaces.
