Construction is underway on the third phase of a master planned renovation on the 50-acre campus of Friendship Village Tempe. An existing structure will be removed to make room for a new five-story, 175,900-square-foot building, which is being designed and built by Ryan Companies, developed by LCS Development, and upon completion, managed by LCS. 

The third phase will include 69 independent living apartments, two guest suites and below-grade parking. The one and two-bedroom residences range from 909 square feet to a penthouse option that is 2,396 square feet. Several amenities, including the Del Fuego restaurant and lounge, featuring duckpin bowling lanes, will be located on the fifth floor. Residents will also have access to a specially designed spa and clinic space, in addition to club rooms and a group exercise area.

The building will provide accessibility to the first two buildings constructed as part of the revitalization, which include rooftop pickleball courts and Starfire, a full-service rooftop restaurant and microbrewery available to residents. Six total phases are being planned with an approximate completion date of 2036.
