RXR Signs Local 32BJ to New Lease, Renews Cole Haan for 11 Years

RXR’s 620 Ave. of the Americas in the Flatiron District has added a new tenant, SEIU Local 32BJ, and renewed existing tenant Cole Haan’s headquarters lease for an additional 11 years.

Local 32BJ’s new 20,778-square-foot space will occupy the building’s ground floor and serve as an office for the union’s 175,000 members. Mark Weiss of Cushman & Wakefield represented Local 32BJ in the 20-year lease, and Daniel Birney represented RXR in-house.

Cole Haan renewed its lease for the third floor’s entire 62,262 square feet. The tenant was represented by a CBRE team of Lauren Crowley Corrinet, Adele Huang, Gary Davies, and Silvio Petriello, while Daniel Birney represented RXR in-house.

“620 is rich in history and offers tenants a modern infrastructure,” said William Elder, RXR EVP and managing director of New York City leasing. “Our tenants benefit from large, efficient floor plates, lofty ceilings, and expansive window lines. Its ideal location provides easy access to prime retail and nearby transportation.”
