RXR Launches Leasing at Downtown Brooklyn Rentals

RXR has launched leasing at Eighty Nine DeKalb, a 30-story, 324-unit all-electric residential tower at the nexus of Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn. Eighty Nine DeKalb will provide a mix of affordable and market-rate housing, 16,400 square feet of amenities and 55,000 square feet of academic and office space for Long Island University (LIU), including three floors dedicated to LIU’s pharmacy program. First move-ins will commence in the fall.

“With leasing now officially underway, Eighty Nine DeKalb marks a significant milestone in RXR’s vision for residential living in Downtown Brooklyn,” said Rebecca D’Eloia, EVP of development at RXR“This project brings to market a collection of thoughtfully designed homes that blend modern interiors, premium finishes and lifestyle-focused amenities, all within a vibrant neighborhood that captures the city’s energy.”

Of the 324 units, 98 are designated as middle-income housing. Floor plans range from studios to two-bedroom, with select units featuring spacious private terraces and patios.
