The Rudin Family is undertaking a major repositioning at 3 Times Square in Midtown Manhattan

Rudins Launch Capital Improvement Program at 3 Times Square

The Rudin Family has launched a multimillion dollar, building-wide capital improvement program for 3 Times Square. Opened in 2001, 3 Times Square was originally constructed as the North American headquarters of Reuters Group PLC.

As part of the capital improvement program, Rudin has engaged FXCollaborative, which designed the original building in 2001, to create a new, glass-walled triple-height lobby.

“The redevelopment of 3 Times Square is a clear commitment to the future of our city,” said Michael Rudin, SVP of Rudin Management Company. “We are excited and proud that, after 20 years, we will be working with the tower’s original architects, FXCollaborative, to modernize and reimagine this iconic Times Square building for the next generation of New Yorkers.”

A Cushman & Wakefield team led by John Cefaly, Lou D’Avanzo, Ron Lo Russo, Paige Engeldrum and Lauren Halewill will act as exclusive leasing agent for the reimagined skyscraper.
