RSI Plowing More Dollars into San Antonio & Austin
RSI Communities, a Texas and California-based housing developer, announced it will be expanding its Lone Star State portfolio to 4,200 lots, with an eye toward creating 28 communities in the state. Specifically, the developer will invest $100 million to create 13 communities in San Antonio, and the remainder in Austin.
RSI Communities is currently developing four neighborhoods in the greater San Antonio area, which should deliver in the early part of this year. The homes RSI has on track for delivery are priced in the low- and mid-$200,000s. The average price of a San Antonio home is $242,622, with the median price at $194,700.
“We have been building in Texas for two years, and know there is great demand for new high-quality, value-packed homes that target buyers searching for houses priced at, or below, the current median prices for the market,” RSI’s John Bohnen told the San Antonio Business Journal.
